Built by Carpenters

Peter Toomey didn't set out to invent a tool. He set out to build decks. Forty years later, the workflow problem that bugged him every day became the Rapid Rafter.

In 1984, with a Texas A&M engineering background, Peter started All Seasons Decks & Gazebos in Liberty Hill, Texas. Forty years and 5,000+ projects later, he was still bothered by the same thing on every framing day: every time a rafter needed a plumb cut and a seat cut, the carpenter had to mark one side, flip the square, and mark the other. Twice the time, twice the chance for error.

The Rapid Rafter solves it. A patent-pending dual-sided design that marks both sides of any board in one motion. Pull once, both lines are drawn. The kind of fix that only comes from forty years of doing the work, not from a focus group.

Today Peter still works out of Liberty Hill alongside his sons Mark and Kyle. Made in USA. Patent pending. Popular Mechanics named it Gear of the Year 2025.
